PREVENTING TERRORISM AND CREATING MARITIME SAFETY

The “Project Poseidon –

Preventing Terrorism in the Maritime Regions”

 

started in the beginning of April, 2009, and lasted for two years.

 

Project included one year applied research project and full scale governmental exercise involving Finnish and Swedish governments (table top exercise at the Cabinet levels and full scale exercise at the Viking Line Gabriella ferry).

 

Project was funded by the European Commission Directorate-General Justice, Freedom and Security under the Programme for “Prevention of and Fight against Crime” (EPCIP 2008).
